Sandra was born in Savannah, GA and grew up in Augusta, GA. Jim was born in Amarillo, TX and grew up in Atlanta, GA. After they were married they lived in Germany for 3 years and later moved to Augusta.

Sandra did volunteer work as the children were attending school. She always participated with all of their activities. She enjoyed horse back riding and playing golf.

Sandra received her Realtors license in the State of Georgia in 1990 and retired it in 1998. She was a member of the Million Dollar Club and was also awarded Top Company Listing and Selling Agent.

Jim received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a minor in accounting from Brenau University. He worked in Healthcare Administration for 30 years.

When Jim and Sandra moved to Memphis, they attended Real Estate School for Tennessee and chose The Carter Group to hold their licenses. Sandra earned her e-Pro designation and is working on her ABR. Jim and Sandra are certified House Values and Just Listed Agents. They have attended several technical training sessions at the Memphis Area Association of Realtors. They are members of the Tennessee Association of Realtors as well as the National Association of Realtors.

Jim and Sandra are members of the Germantown Chamber of Commerce and attend church in town. Jim is a member of the Memphis Area Home Builders Association, Home Builders Association of Tennessee and the National Association of Home Builders.
